Abstract:
PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a display device for a vehicle that prevents a seizure phenomenon without giving a feeling of discomfort.SOLUTION: A display device for a vehicle includes a liquid crystal display unit 1, and control means 2 to cause the liquid crystal display unit 1 to display an instrument image 10. In a predetermined vehicle state (e.g., a state in which a turn signal indicator switch indicates right turn), the control means 2 displays seizure prevention images 11, 12 by moving the same from the left edge to the right edge so that the images pass over the whole display region of the liquid crystal display unit 1. Since the seizure prevention images 11, 12 are moved and displayed according to the predetermined vehicle information, the seizure prevention display that hardly gives a feeling of discomfort to a vehicle driver can be achieved.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 2
