Abstract:
To provide a display device for a vehicle which can exhibit a desirable display for a viewer and also solves cost problems.SOLUTION: The display device for a vehicle is arranged in the body of a vehicle 1 and includes display panels 2 (21 to 24) for displaying required images. The display panels 21 and 22 are formed of high-resolution panels 211 and 221 displaying high-resolution images and low-resolution panels 212 and 222 displaying low-resolution images. The display device displays images in the display region (the entire area of the display panels 21 and 22) including the low-resolution panels 212 and 222 when a viewer is far from the display device, and displays images in the display region in the high-resolution panels 211 and 221 when a viewer is near the display device.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 1
