To obtain an in-wheel structure for a vehicle of a new configuration with less inconvenience such as enabling further downsizing.SOLUTION: An in-wheel structure for a vehicle comprises a drive unit that has: a drum brake having, for example, a cylindrical drum; a motor which has a rotor, at least a part of which is housed in a cylinder of a cylindrical wheel, and which is located radially so as to be displaced from the center of rotation of the wheel; a speed reduction mechanism that reduces the rotation of the rotor and transmits it to the wheel. A part of at least one of the motor and the speed reduction mechanism is located inside the cylinder of the drum.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 1
