A ring type interface for control is constituted of a first pair of coil members 38 and 74 and a first annular core member 62 freely detachably attached to at least one of the first coil members. The one member 38 of the first coil members is attached to a liquid crystal display device 12 provided with a cholesteric liquid crystal element 20 and the other member 74 is attached to a display control device 14. A ring type interface for power supply is constituted of a second pair of coil members 38 and 74 and a second annular core 62 freely detachably attached to at least one of the second coil members. The one member 38 of the second coil members of the ring type interface for power supply is attached to the liquid crystal display device 12 and the other member 74 is attached to the display control device 14.
