The display device 1 includes a cover member 10 provided with an engagement piece 12 engaging with an engagement part 20 disposed on a display body 2. The engagement piece 12 has an engagement piece body 13 extending toward the periphery of the display body 2. The engagement part 20 has first and second clamping parts 22, 23 which are opposed to each other and clamp the engagement piece 12 toward the direction perpendicular to the extending direction of the engagement piece 12. First and second protrusion parts 24, 25 (protrusion part) are formed on the first and second clamping parts 22, 23 and a through-hole 14 (recessed part) is formed in the engagement piece body, and the first and second protrusion parts 24, 25 enter into the through-hole 14 and the second clamping part 23 elastically deforms along the direction perpendicular to the extending direction of the engagement piece 12, thereby clamping the engagement piece body 13 between the first and second clamping parts 22, 23.
