Abstract:
PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To display tree-dimensional kinetics without impairing interactivity by repeatedly visualizing three-dimensional volume data.
SOLUTION: For this display method, a storage device 2 for storing four- dimensional data to which a time base has been added, a computer 3 which visualizes the four-dimensional data, a display 6, and a device 5 for inputting coordinates on the display are provided. Further, when kinetics for one cycle of periodic four-dimensional data is displayed in three dimensions, a process for displaying a three-dimensional image in time phase that is already calculated in determined display timing at set display intervals without reference to whether other time phase are being calculated while there is no variation of visualization parameters is performed unless visualization calculatior is completed within a set display interval.
