To provide a disposable umbrella having an integral characteristic in a connection part between a hollow shank part and spreader/rib parts, capa ble of being bent such that it can be put in a pocket and being portable easily, and capable of being developed through air continuously fed to the hollow shank part and spreader/rib parts in use.
This umbrella comprises a shank part formed by thermally fusing two lines 7, 7 each having a specified width to a laminated synthetic resin film obtained by laminating two resin films 6, 6 such that they are branched 7a, 7a in the longitudinal direction on both sides, and a plurality of spreader/rib parts 3 formed by thermally fusing two radial lines 11, 11 each having a specified width communication with an opening 9 at an upper end of the shank part 2 with the opening being the base end and the outer circumferential end thereof to two laminated sheets of film formed by laminated another synthetic resin film on the laminated synthetic resin films 6, 6 spread along the branched lines 7a, 7a, and the umbrella is provided with an air seal port 5 at a lower end of the shank part 2.
