In this disposable wear 1, a liquid permeable surface sheet 2 and a liquid impermeable back face sheet 3 have therebetween a liquid- absorbing first panel 4; both side ends 4b of the first panel 4 have at the outsides thereof side flaps 6 extending in the longitudinal direction and leakage prevention cuffs 9 attached to the side flaps 6; and elastic members 14 are attached to free margin section 11 of the cuffs 9 in a stretched manner. Liquid- absorbing second panels 15 are attached to the opposing faces of the free margin sections 11 of the cuffs 9. The free margin sections 11 and the second panels 15 of the cuffs 9 stand up from the surface sheet 2.
