Title:
DISPOSABLE WET TOWEL
Document Type and Number:
Japanese Patent JP3685313
Kind Code:
B2
Abstract:

PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a disposable wet towel made of a woven fabric, which is rich in water-retaining property the same as a conventional terry cloth, and is sealed in a water-impermeable bag, at a low cost.
SOLUTION: Floating warps P and Q are arranged between base warps A and B. Then, wefts C, D and E constituted of a large number of heat-fusible synthetic fiber multifilament yarns, are hammered in between the warps, and thus, a base woven fabric is formed. Then, one floating warp P of the two floating warps which are arranged and alternately placed side by side is woven into the base woven fabric by repeating the submerging under one weft E and the skipping over a plurality of wefts C and D. Then, the other floating warp Q is woven into the base woven fabric by repeating the skipping over one weft E and submerging under a plurality of wefts C and D respectively. Swellings H and K by an excessive woven-in length portion of the floating warps P and Q in response to a difference with the woven-in length of the base warps A and B, are respectively formed on the rear side wherein the floating warps P and Q submerge under the plurality of wefts C and D, and on the front side wherein the floating warps P and Q skip over the plurality of wefts C and D.
