Abstract:

To provide a direct dye having an excellent dying characteristics.

The present invention relates to the dissymmetrical cationic diazo compounds having 4-pyridinium group and a cationic or a non-cationic linker. The invention further relates to a dyeing composition comprising such compound as a direct dye in a medium appropriate for the dyeing of keratin fibers, and also to a method of coloring keratin fibers that employs this composition, and a device having a plurality of compartments.
