Abstract:
PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To detect noise occurring due to effects of sunlight in an image that represents the distance to each measurement point in a distance measurement device, a distance measurement method and a program.SOLUTION: Provided is a distance measurement device for measuring the distance to an object on the basis of the reflected light of a pulsed laser beam that scans in two dimensions, characterized by comprising means for extracting a first area whose area size is less than or equal to a threshold size from among areas of distance measurement points where distance values on an image that represents the distance to each distance measurement point are less than or equal to a first threshold and a difference in the distance values is less than or equal to a second threshold, and means for determining an area group the number of constituent first areas of which is greater than or equal to a given number, among area groups of first areas where the distance on two-dimensional coordinates in the image is less than or equal to a third threshold and a difference in the distance value exceeds a fourth threshold, as a noise area.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 3
