Abstract:

To provide a distributed base isolation device that can reduce the number of parts and reduce manufacturing costs.SOLUTION: A distributed base isolation device 30 inserted between a foundation 11 and a bedsill 12 of a building comprises: an upper flat plate 40 that contacts a bedsill 12; a lower flat plate 50 which contacts the foundation 11 and whose upper surface is in close contact with a lower surface of the upper flat plate 40; a protrusion formed on one of a lower surface of the upper flat plate 40 and an upper surface of the lower flat plate 50; and a receiving portion formed on the other of the lower surface of the upper flat plate 40 and the upper surface of the lower flat plate 50 and receiving the protrusion. When a predetermined load is applied to the upper flat plate 40 and the lower flat plate 50 in a relative horizontal direction, the protrusion is broken, and the upper flat plate 40 and the lower flat plate 50 can move in the relative horizontal direction.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 1
