Abstract:
To obtain the subject new compound useful as a therapeutic agent for kidney diseases and liver diseases.
This compound is represented by formula I[A is a single bond or formula II; R1 is H, an (OH-substituted) alkyl, etc.; R2 is methyl, an alkoxy, etc.], e.g. di(3-aminopropyl)3,3'dithiobis-2,2-dimethylpropionate. The compound is obtained by converting 3,3'-dithiobis-2,2-dimethylpropionic acid into its acyl chloride solution by using thionyl chloride and an activating agent such as DCC and reacting the solution with alcohols such as N-Boc-3-aminopropanol in the presence of triethylamine, etc.
