The document board-hanging belt device includes: a document board holder which has an oblong base material part, a document board-locking part provided near the lower end of the surface of the base material part, and a belt insertion part provided near the upper end of the back side of the base material part; and a waist belt which is inserted in the belt insertion part and hangs the document board holder, wherein the document board-locking part is a thin-wall hollow body which has a flat space in the perpendicular direction to the surface of the base material and at least has an opening at the upper face, and a vertical distance between the lowermost part of the waist belt in a state where the waist belt is inserted into the belt insertion part and the uppermost part of an opening is at least 30 mm or more.
