To provide a patient chair having a simple structure and high motion reliability and having a footrest capable of automatically moving with respect to a leg-rest in the direction of extending the leg-rest and in its inverse direction.

This patient chair includes: a seating section (12) vertically movably provided; a backrest (13) being tiltable/erectable by rotationally turning to the seating section; the leg-rest (15) capable of rotationally turning to the seating section; and the footrest (30) capable of moving in the direction of extending the leg-rest and in its inverse direction. This patient chair further includes an energizing means (55) energizing the footrest in either one direction of the moving directions of the footrest to move the footrest in the one direction, and a moving regulation mechanism (60) operatively connected to the rotational turning of the leg-rest to regulate the movement of the footrest by the energizing force of the energizing means.
