Abstract:
PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a document edition output device for changing an output image in accordance with the entered contents of a document and editing and outputting the document.
SOLUTION: The device is provided with a document structure analyzing means 2 for analyzing the structure of a document by collating a document image with a document layout rule, a document layout rule storing means 3 for storing the document layout rule, an input picture data storing means 4 for storing partial document images obtained by the analysis of the document structure, an image information coding means 5 for coding a partial document image allowed to be coded out of plural partial document images in accordance with the document layout rule, an output rule storing means 7 for storing an output rule for determining the contents of an output image in accordance with the contents of the partial document images stored in the means 4, an output information determining means 6 for determining the contents of an output by using the output rule, and an edition output means 8 for inputting the document contents outputted from the means 6 and generating an output image.
