Abstract:
PURPOSE:To realize preparation of a document in which data of different kind are mixed by adopting a concept of a frame having position, size and job attribute on a blank form. CONSTITUTION:When editing a frame area, a frame in the printed image area 161 to be edited is designated by depressing a left button of a mouse 14. For instance, in the case of [manual edition] 322, address of text information corresponding to the page designated by a page control information storage section 26 is taken out, and a frame area information address corresponding to the designated address is found out, and frame attribute and data number are taken out. When the frame attribute taken out is indefinite, a message that requests selection of one of tablulation, figure drawing, image is displayed in a message display area to get selection of work, and attribute corresponding to designated work is registered in frame attribute of the page control information storage section 26. Starting job is known from work selection or frame attribute and the job is started.
