PURPOSE: To generate the business card by editing easily and quickly card data by generating a card format, and inputting the card data stored in advance to a mention position of its card format.

CONSTITUTION: In a card data storage means 101, a mention matter of a card is stored in advance, and when a card format is generated by a setting means 102, its card format is stored in a card format storage means 103. Subsequently, when a matter to be mentioned in a mention position of the card format is designated by a designating means 104, the designated mention matter is read out of the card data storage means 101 by a reading-out means 105, the read-out mention matter is placed in the mention position of the card format by an editing means 106, and the card is generated. In such a way, the mention matter stored in advance is inputted automatically to its card format and the business card can be edited freely.
