Abstract:
PURPOSE: To easily increase or decrease the value of a called successive number word or phrase by automatically registering the successive number word or phrase through normal document input operation.
CONSTITUTION: This document processor is equipped with a keyboard 108, an input information memory 102, and a CPU 101, and when the CPU 101 converts inputted characters into a KANJI(Chinese character) mixed sentence, the index of abbreviated characters obtained by abbreviating the input characters to a certain number of characters from the head and information for converting the abbreviated characters into the normal KANJI mixed sentence are stored in a dictionary for abbreviation conversion. When the abbreviated characters are inputted, the dictionary for abbreviation conversion is retrieved by using the abbreviated characters as an index and converted into the normal KANJI mixed sentence; whether or not the converted KANJI mixed sentence contains a successive number word and phrase indicating the order of a numeral, a Roman letter, a symbol, etc., is detected and when an increase or decrease in the value of the successive number word or phrase is instructed, the value of the detected successive number word or phrase is increased or decreased according to the instruction.
