The door control system has a portable unit 2 with a passive-mode output means 1 transmitting an ID for an authentication in response to a specified ID demand signal and a door controller 3 outputting the ID demand signal to the portable unit 2 and moving a door under a locked state at all times to the unlocked state for a fixed time when the authentication to the ID for the authentication received from the portable unit 2 holds. In the door control system, the portable unit 2 is provided with an active-mode output means 5 transmitting the ID for the authentication by an operation to a locking-releasing operating section 4, and the door controller 3 is provided with an extension means 6 extending a holding time of the unlocked state when the ID for the authentication from the active-mode output means 5 by the portable unit 2 is detected within the fixed time after the authentication is established.
