Abstract:
PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To improve burglary prevention performance by engaging the intermediate engagement part of a U-shaped plywood fixing a base end and an edge on a key cylinder insertion cylinder with slits formed in the key cylinder insertion cylinder and a key cylinder respectively.
SOLUTION: A key cylinder 7 is inserted in a key cylinder insertion cylinder 6 integrally formed to be projected on the rear face side of an outer handle case formed by injection molding of metal die cast or the like, and a lever 9 leading to a lock is attached to its projection part. A slit 11 is formed at a longitudinal intermediate position of the key cylinder insertion cylinder 6, and another slit 12 is formed at a position where the slit 12 is matched to the slit 11 of the key cylinder 7. After the intermediate engagement part of a U-shaped engagement plate 14 mounting a base end on one of the right and left sides of the key cylinder insertion cylinder 6 is engaged with both the slits 11, 12, the edge of the U-shaped engagement plate is fixed on the other of the right and left sides of the key cylinder insertion cylinder 6. Thereby even if a driver is inserted in a key groove, lock releasing cannot be performed.
