Abstract:
PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an inexpensive door safety device for elevator that can prevent foreign matter from being drawn into a gap between a detection plate and a laterally hinged door with simple constitution after detecting the foreign matter being drawn in.SOLUTION: A door safety device includes: a car door 3 which opens and closes a doorway 2; a longitudinal frame 4 for doorway in which the car door 3 is accommodated; a detection plate 5 which is arranged to move between a standard position where a gap B formed on the side of the doorway 2 between the longitudinal frame 4 for doorway and the car door 3 and a standby position at a first distance from the standard position in an opening direction of an upper car door 3; a detection switch 10 which detects the detection plate 5 being refracted in the opening direction of the car door 3 from the standard position by a second distance shorter than the first distance; a door driving device 13 which opens and closes the car door 3; and a door control device 12 which controls the door driving device 13 so as to place the car door 3 in closing operation when the detection switch 10 detects the detection plate 5 being retracted by the second distance during opening operation of the car door 3.
