Abstract:
PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To automatically clean the inside of a tank by providing cleaning nozzles cleaning the inner peripheral face of the tank in the tank of a door opening/closing type bathtub provided with a door opening/closing type bathtub main body and the tank temporarily storing the hot water.
SOLUTION: When a tank cleaning switch is turned on to clean the inside of a tank 4 after bathing, a signal is generated from a control device 24 to open a solenoid valve 16, and hot water is sprayed from nozzles 17, 17 at the upper section of the tank 4. The sprayed hot water collides with all over the inner peripheral face and the bottom face of the tank 4 and washes away the refuse such as stuck hairs and blots. A cleaning solvent is fed from a cleaning solvent feeding means 26 while the inside of the tank 4 is cleaned by the hot water from the nozzles 17, and the oil constituent stuck on the inner peripheral face of the tank 4 can be washed away. A timer is operated when the prescribed period elapses, the solenoid valve 16 is closed, and the feed of the cleaning solvent to the nozzles 17 from the cleaning solvent feeding means 26 is stopped.
