Abstract:
PURPOSE: To reduce the cost and miniaturize the device by a method wherein the ceiling plate for a low-temperature reproducer and a condenser is formed in common and a gap, provided between the lower surface of the ceiling plate and the upper end peripheral rim of outer peripheral wall of the low-temperature reproducer, is utilized as the passage of refrigerant vapor.
CONSTITUTION: A double effect absorptive refrigerator is constituted of a vertical cylindrical gas/liquid separator 2, provided continuously above a high-temperature reproducer 1, a vertical cylindrical low-temperature reproducer 3, provided so a to cover the peripheral and upper part of the gas/liquid separator 2 to utilize the casing of the gas/liquid separator 2 as a heat transfer wall 4 transmitting heat from the refrigerant vapor in the separator 2 to the low-temperature reproducer 3, an absorber 5 and an evaporator 6, which are provided at the lower outside periphery of the low- temperature reproducer 3, and a condenser 7, provided at the upper outside periphery of the same. A ceiling plate 8 for the reproducer 3 and the condenser 7 is formed in common and a gap 10 is provided between the lower surface of the ceiling plate 8 and the upper end periphery rim of outer peripheral wall 9 of the reproducer 3 to utilize it as the passage of refrigerant vapor. According to this method, welding of the upper end rim of condenser 7 to the wall 9 and ceiling plate 23 to the upper end of the outer peripheral wall 9 can be omitted.
