Abstract:
To provide a crown-shaped holder capable of reliably filling grease from a width surface of a double-row angular contact ball bearing to near a pitch circle diameter of a rolling element inside the bearing after assembling the bearing, while maintaining the strength of a holding claw.SOLUTION: A crown-shaped holder 5 comprises concave spherical pockets of which one end has an annular portion 5a, and the other end is formed with a pair of holding claws 5b facing each other at a regular interval in a circumferential direction, and that hold a ball 4 on the opposing surfaces of the pair of holding claws 5b. By providing through holes 5c in an axial direction in the holding claws 5b between the pockets, grease can be reliably filled to the inside of a double-row angular contact ball bearing 1 through the through holes 5c of the holding claws 5b.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 4
