In a double-sided cut pile fabric for towel and handkerchief having a pile length, protruding from a ground texture in which warp and weft cross, of 5 mm or less, blended yarn, which is composed of cotton fiber and functional fiber with added hygiene functions such as antibacterial, antibromic and deodorant properties, is used for the constituent yarn of the pile yarn constituting the double-sided cut pile fabric. This blended yarn contains 20% or more of cotton fiber.
