To provide a recording device having an inversion part for inverting a recorded paper which is recorded on one face in a recording part by conveying it along a predetermined path and returning it to the recording part and capable of reducing possibilities of peeling of a recording agent on the recorded face and adhesion of the peeled recording agent to the recorded paper again in the inversion part.
The recorded paper which is recorded on one face in the recording part having a recording head 11 is conveyed to the inversion part. The inversion part has a double-sided roller A113 and a double-sided roller B112 both made of an elastic member such as rubber and an elastomer driven onto the recorded face side of the recorded medium and a double-sided pinch roller A113 and a double-sided pinch roller B112 both made of a non-elastic member such as a high-molecular resin driven together with the double-sided roller A113 and the double-sided roller B112 on the non-recording face side. A recorded medium is conveyed along a peripheral passage using the recorded face side as an inner side, is inverted, and is returned to the recording part side.
