PURPOSE: To realize down-load without compulsorily interrupting the processing of terminal equipments and without the degradation of service by transmitting down-loading data from a center unit to the terminal equipments several times for prescribed time.
CONSTITUTION: Information on down-load is given from the center unit 1 to the terminal equipments 2 through a control line for prescribed time. During this information, down-loading data are transmitted through the data transmission line for plural times. When the terminal equipment 2 detects the information on down-load from the control line, it receives down-loading data through the data transmission line immediately, if no other processing is present in the terminal equipment 2, and after the other processing is terminated if the other processing is present thereon. When reception is terminated, corresponding to down-load is prevented until information on down-load in the control line is present for prescribed time.
