Abstract:

PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a downlink quality measuring apparatus capable of obtaining downlink quality in detail in a wireless communication system.
SOLUTION: The downlink quality measuring apparatus detects missing of a downlink wireless frame which a subscriber station cannot receive due to a momentary interruption of a transmission path caused by a weather state such as rainfall and snowfall by a self-running frame period signal being a self-running output of a timer 205 built in a frame period signal output circuit 204 and adds the detected result to downlink quality information to obtain the downlink quality by a formula of wireless packet abort rate={ number of erroneously received packets + number of missing frames ×N}÷{number of received packets + number of missing frames ×N}, wherein N is the number of downlink fixed length packets included in one wireless frame thereby obtaining more meticulous downlink quality information.
