Abstract:
To provide a download system and download device for transferring content data to a terminal, which can minimize the waiting time of the user of the download device even during congestion.
This download system comprises a database storing reservation information for content data the download of which is reserved by the user of a terminal, the database being exchangeable of data with a content server. When the terminal is mounted on the download device, the content server transmits prescribed content data based on the reservation information to the download device, and the download device transmits the prescribed content data to the terminal.
