Abstract:

PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a downward boring device suitable for boring a bridge pier constructing shaft or a bridge pier reinforcing hole by suspending a guide cell with an automobile crane, and vertically movably fitting a rock drill on its surface side.
SOLUTION: A rock drill 30 is vertically movably fitted on the surface side of a guide cell 2 provided with a fitting tool 70 capable of being suspended from an automobile crane at the upper end section, and the rock drill 30 is vertically moved by a feed device 5. A foot pad 37 is provided at the lower end section of the guide cell 2, and the guide cell 2 is pressed to the floor surface and fixed. A balance weight 35 is fitted at the back face section of the guide cell 2 to prevent the inclination of the guide cell 2 by the weight of the rock drill 30. A dolly block 10 is preferably provided on the surface side of the guide cell 2 to keep the distance between the wall face and the guide cell 2 constant.
