Abstract:
PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To automatically detect the abnormality of video information components from video signals themselves and to accurately report the generation of the abnormality of the video information components.
SOLUTION: Vertical and horizontal synchronizing signals are extracted from input video signals by a synchronization separating circuit 1, the input video signals are converted to digital signals based on the synchronizing signals extracted in the synchronizing separator circuit 1 by an A/D converter 2 and digital video signals outputted from the A/D converter 2 are delayed for two frames, for instance, by a frame memory 3 and inputted to a real time video processing part 4 together with the output of the A/D converter 2. Correlation is obtained for each pixel there, the frequency that a correlation degree becomes higher than a reference value within an optional field period is obtained, the result is sent to a system control part 6 and whether the input video signals are normal or abnormal is decided from the frequency that the frequency becomes more than the stipulated frequency within the fixed period of time.
