PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a drainage system, a pump facility control system and a pump facility control method which do not put a large burden on a pump.SOLUTION: A drainage system comprises: a motor (1) which has an output shaft (11); a pump (3) which has a main shaft (31) with a first detection subject section (5A) and a second detection subject section (5B) arranged at positions different from each other; engagement means (21) which switches between direct and indirect engagement of the output shaft (11) of the motor (1) with the main shaft (31) of the pump (3); a detection section (41) which detects the first detection subject section (5A) and the second detection subject section (5B); a determination section (42) which determines a rotation direction of the main shaft (31) of the pump (3) on the basis of detection timings of the first detection subject section (5A) and the second detection subject section (5B); and a control section (43) which controls the engagement means (21) taking into consideration the rotation direction of the main shaft (31) of the pump (3).SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 2
