Abstract:
PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To carry rainwater penetrated into a water permeable pavement in the longitudinal direction of a road bridge by setting a water-impermeable expansion joint in a road bridge joint part, and forming a draining channel for draining water from the high position-side water permeable pavement to a low position-side road across the expansion joint.
SOLUTION: The rainwater fallen on a high position-side water permeable pavement 2a with a longitudinal gradient in rain is permeated thereto. Since this road bridge has a longitudinal gradient and a transverse gradient, however, the rainwater is carried on a floor system concrete as underground water within the water permeable pavement 2a toward an expansion joint 1, and also carried on the road end side into a cross passage 22. The rainwater carried into the cross passage 22 on the road top side is run into a vertical drain pipe 17a on the road end side, carried from there to a low position-side vertical drain pipe 17b through the expansion groove 16 of a joint member 7, and then run to a low position-side water permeable pavement 2b.
