PURPOSE: To make it possible to allow a die box to naturally follow up an exact angle position and to prevent the vibration or oscillation about axes by installing a device for naturally rotating the die box to an exact drawing position, then clamping the die box to a position which may be continuously regulated.

CONSTITUTION: A cylinder 38 for positioning in a horizontal direction and a stationary cylinder 39 in a perpendicular direction are released of driving force when the action of drawing is started and just before the die box 13 moves upward. The die box about both axes is moved by a piston in the contraction state to the cylinders. Since the die box is freely movable, a tube 1 emerging from a die 35 is lowered on a downward direction so as to extend straightforward to a position on a capstan by which spiral taking-up is executed. When the die box 13 arrives at the drawing position, the stationary cylinder 39 of the perpendicular direction and a caliper brake 41 are immediately driven to prevent the rotation of the die box 13 about both axes.
