PURPOSE: To improve the absorbing property of sebum by specifying the bulk density of the paper formed from a paper material combined with a specific quantity of an inorganic loading material into a pulp raw material mainly made of vegetable fibers.
CONSTITUTION: A pulp raw material made of vegetable fibers alone of a constituent A or a pulp raw material containing at least one kind selected among wood pulp, polyolefin synthetic pulp, and synthetic fibers in vegetable fibers is dispersed in water. The pulp raw material dispersed in water is applied with beating process to obtain the flexible and dense paper. An inorganic loading material of a constituent B is combined into the pulp raw material applied with beating process within the range of 5-50 pts.wt. to 100 pts.wt. of the pulp raw material of the constituent A to form the paper material for the dressing absorbent paper. When this paper material is made into paper and dried by the ordinary paper making method, the dressing absorbent paper can be manufactured. The dressing absorbent paper normally having the weighing of 10-30g/m2, the bulk density of 0.7 or above, and excellent absorbing property of sebum can be obtained.
