To provide a drier capable of stabilizing drying quality by equalizing variations in the distribution of discharges of hot air blown up and discharged into a drying chamber from the lower portion of the drying chamber.
The drier includes a hot air generator 2 and a drying chamber 3 provided adjacent to each other, and dries material in the drying chamber 3 by supplying hot air generated in the hot air generator 2 to the lower portion 20 of the drying chamber, and causing the hot air to be blown up and discharged into the drying chamber 3 from the lower portion 20 of the drying chamber. Adjusting plates 22, 23 rising from a bottom surface 20a while leaving hot air vent holes 24, 25 intact on the upper side are provided in part of the lower portion of the drying chamber. Part of flow of the hot air supplied to the lower portion of the drying chamber is changed by the adjusting plates 22, 23 to take the direction of blowing up into the drying chamber. Also, part of flow of the hot air supplied to the lower portion of the drying chamber is guided behind the adjustment plates 22, 23 through the vent holes 24, 25, whereby the distribution of the amounts that the hot air supplied to the lower portion of the drying chamber is blown up and discharged is adjusted in front of and behind the adjustment plates 22, 23.
