Abstract:
To highly accurately drill a hole in a work material made of a material such as a composite material or a metal, not only when the rigidity of the main shaft of a drilling machine is sufficient, but also when drilling is performed by a hand-held tool rotating device or the rigidity of the main shaft of the drilling machine is low.SOLUTION: A drill has: a first cutting edge that is formed on a leading-end side so that a clearance angle decreases continuously or intermittently from the leading-end side toward a rear-end side while a leading-end angle decreases continuously or intermittently from the leading-end side toward the rear-end side; a second cutting edge which is for performing a finishing process on a lower hole by being formed at a position separated from the first cutting edge toward the rear-end side, the second cutting edge having a clearance angle at a maximum diameter position; and a shake preventing portion that is formed between the first cutting edge and the second cutting edge and reduces shake of the second cutting edge by being inserted into the lower hole processed by the first cutting edge.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 10
