Abstract:

PURPOSE: To provide a constitution wherein suppresses of circulating air flow is not generated by a separator.
CONSTITUTION: A drilling or chiseling tool has a suction mechanism 8 releasably mounted on a body 1. The mechanism 8 has a separator 11 having a replaceable housing 13 subdivided into first and second separate chambers K1, K2 by a filter element 14 disposed in the housing 13. The chambers K1, K2 have apertures 12, 15, respectively, with cross-sections extending at right angles to one another.
