Abstract:
PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a boring machine: capable of achieving drilling operations by both rotation and percussion when bits connected on the distal end of the boring machine is stricken on gravel, hard rock, and so on; and also adaptable for drilling in even a small working ground.SOLUTION: A boring machine (100) of the present invention has a driving source (10: thin type rotational driving device) and a connecting device (20). The connecting device (20) can connect a rotation transmitting member (50: rod) which transmits a rotational force to a bit side arranged to its distal end and also can connect a percussion equipment (30: hammer or vibratory equipment) by means of adapters (31: front adapter 31A and rear adapter 31b)(adapted adapters 31). The driving source (10: thin type rotational driving device) has power source (1: e.g. hydraulic motor), a gear with a small number of teeth (2: small diameter gear: pinion) and a (large diameter) gear with a large number of teeth (3: large gear).SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 1
