Title:
DRIVE CIRCUIT OF LASER ARRAY
Document Type and Number:
Japanese Patent JP3203071
Kind Code:
B2
Abstract:

PURPOSE: To simplify the drive circuit of a laser array provided with a plurality of laser diodes whose optical output is different from each other.
CONSTITUTION: One laser diode LD0 out of a plurality of laser diodes LD0, LD1, LD2,..., LDN is controlled in such a way that its optical output becomes definite, and a current detection part DET which detects its driving current I1 is installed in a drive part APC which drives it. Its output is given to a subtraction part which respectively subtracts voltages Vc1, Vc2,..., VcN set by variable resistances VR1, VR2,..., VRN. The title drive circuit is provided with a current supply part ACC which gives a driving current to laser diodes LD1, LD2,..., LDN according to the output voltage of the subtraction part. When a temperature is changed, it is sufficient to drive all the laser diodes LD0, LD1, LD2,..., LDN by a current which has been changed by the same amount.
