Abstract:
PURPOSE:To drive a truck accurately to a desired position by detecting a reference member set at the station side with a sensor attached to the truck and then detecting directly the position and the tilt of the truck. CONSTITUTION:A truck A containing a working robot 1 for loading and a load stage part 2 is driven among stations ST along a drive route stuck with a light reflecting tape 3 for guidance and carries various types of loads. The truck A is also provided with a light sensor 7 which detects the lateral deviation amount from the tape 3, a mark reading sensor 9 which detects the stop marks provided at each station and an optical signal transmission/reception device 10 of the truck side set opposite to a signal transmission/reception device 11 of the station side. Thus a controller R of the robot 1 performs the automatic drive of the truck A together with a central controller V according to the information stored previously. Furthermore the reference member of the station is detected by an image sensor 13 provided to the robot 1. Thus the robot 1 is actuated assuredly.
