A 1st and 2nd gear trains 10 and 18 are arranged side by side on the circumference of a cam cylinder and the circumference of a lens holding cylinder for supporting a moving lens, which are coaxially rotated. A 1st output gear 29 is engaged with the 1st gear train 10, and the drive of the zoom motor 14 is transmitted. A 2nd output gear 37 is engaged with the 2nd gear train 18, and the drive of a focus motor 22 is transmitted. The rotation transmitted from a 1st detection gear 35 engaged with the 1st gear train 10 and the rotation transmitted from a 2nd detection gear 27 engaged with the 2nd gear train 18 are separately inputted to two encoders 33 and 41 for detecting the rotating angle of the cam cylinder. The 2nd detection gear 27 is freely rotatably supported by a 1st output shaft 26 for driving the 1st output gear 29, and also, the 1st detection gear 35 is freely rotatably supported by the 1st output shaft 34 for driving the 2nd output gear 37.
