PURPOSE: To enable both improvement in the on-vehicle characteristics and reduction in oscillatory noise in the case of mounting several drive motors on an electric car.
CONSTITUTION: (1) A left and a right motors 3a, 3b for driving wheels are coupled through a vibration control member 31. In the mounting of motors 3a, 3b on a car body, the member 31 is provided. On the other hand, (2) the rotation directions of the motors 3a, 3b are made opposite and the rotation directions of wheels are made identical by a speed reducer, or (3) with a constant difference given to the rotational speeds of the motors 3a, 3b (even in the case of straight running), the wheel rotation speeds are controlled to be the same through the gear ratio of reduction mechanism for each wheel transmission. The steps serve to shift any one of oscillation generation direction and generation frequency, or control vibration.
