Abstract:
PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To make use of the whole rotating area of an engine by improving a drive device by a simple and inexpensive means.
SOLUTION: This device is provided with an engine 4 and a power transmitting device 7 which leads power to a coupled machine driven by the power starting from the crankshaft 5 of the engine, and is constituted so that at least one shock absorber which is effective against rotational vibration may be attached on a shaft line consisting of the crankshaft 5 and the power transmitting device 7. Respective shock absorbers 12 are provided in an area distant from the engine 4 involving a thrust bearing in the shaft line consisting of the crankshaft 5 and the power transmitting device 7. The respective shock absorbers 12 are capable of making relative movement constrainedly in the circumferential direction by action of a shock absorbing material, involve members 13, 14 penetrating through the shaft line, and the members 13, 14 which are capable of making relative movement are connected, according to its rotation, to an area distant from each other in the shaft line by a connecting device provided in a radial shape at the outside of the shaft line.
