To provide a drive force transmission device in which an adverse effect by drag torque is suppressed.
The drive force transmission device 1 includes a housing 2 rotated by the drive source of a four-wheel drive vehicle, an inner shaft 3 having shaft elements 30, 31 which are disengaged and engaged by the movement of a coupling member 35, a first cam mechanism 7 having a control cam 70 which is rotated by receiving, from a pilot clutch 5, a rotational force from the housing 2, and a second cam mechanism 8 having a main cam 80 which is rotated by receiving a rotational force from a control cam 70. The main cam 80 of the second cam mechanism 8 is disposed at a position where the main cam can move the coupling member 35 in a direction in which one shaft element 30 and the other shaft element 31 are coupled with each other by receiving second thrust P2.
