This drive unit 1 is provided: with a first rotary member 3 rotating by receiving drive torque; a first gear 5 arranged integrally with the first rotary member 3; a second rotary member 7 arranged in parallel with the first rotary member 3; a second gear 9 arranged integrally with the second rotary member 7, and gearing with the first gear 5; and a case 11 housing the first and second rotary members 3 and 7 and the first and second gears 5 and 9. In the drive unit, the case 11 has a first case part 13 and a second case part 15 divided by a plane B including an axis A of the second rotary member 7, supports the first rotary member 3 on the first case part 13 side, and supports the second rotary member 7 to the first case part 13 and the second case part 15.
