Abstract:

PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To convert a current into mechanical vibrations efficiently by setting the resonance frequency of the admittance characteristics of the whole vibrator, so that the admittance ratio of the mechanical-arm component of the equivalent circuit for the vibrator to an electric-arm component exists in a frequency band shown in specific formula.
SOLUTION: One of outputs from a high-frequency oscillator 11 is connected to an electrode 123a for a piezoelectric element constituting an oscillatory-wave motor 120 through an amplifier 14 and an inductance element 16a, and the other outputs is changed into AC voltage having different phase at 90° by a 90° phase shifter 12, and joined with an electrode 123b for the piezoelectric element through an amplifier 13 and an inductance element. The resonance frequency of the admittance characteristics of the whole vibrator containing the inductance element is set at an inductance value L, where the ratio of the magnitude of the admittance Ye of a mechanical-arm component in an equivalent circuit for a vibrator to the magnitude of the admittance Ym of an electric-arm component exists in a frequency band satisfying &verbar Ye&verbar /&verbar Ym&verbar <=1 at that time.
