Abstract:

To ensure good protection and water-proofing of an assist ratio regulating means fitted on a driving assist device by a simple constitution.

This driving assist force operated bicycle is provided with an assist ratio regulating means 44 which is fitted outside a driving assist device 22 and can regulate the ratio of pedal effort working upon a crank shaft 27 to driving assist force which a motor 26 generates from the outside, whereas the assist ratio regulating means 44 is fitted on the top of the driving assist device 22, its vehicle body frame has such a side surface shape as to surround the driving assist device 22 from the above and such a cross-section shape open toward the driving assist device 22, and a driving assist device retaining part 5 having such a shape as to cover the part of the assist ratio regulating means 44 from the above and right/left direction is also fitted.
