Title:
DRIVING CIRCUIT FOR LIGHT EMITTING DIODE
Document Type and Number:
Japanese Patent JP2004134580
Kind Code:
A
Abstract:

To reduce the electric load of a driving circuit side and stabilize the luminance of a light emitting diode against the fluctuation of a power supply voltage, external noise or the like.

The driving circuit for light emitting diode is provided with a plurality of light emitting diode circuits 40A, 40B composed of light emitting diodes 41, 42, a current limiting resistor 44 and a transistor 43 which are connected in series while the plurality of light emitting diode circuits 40A, 40B are connected in parallel to each other so as to be connected to a battery commonly to impress a base voltage in common to respective transistors 43, or a driving circuit 20 driven by a constant voltage to drive the transistor 34. In this case, the collector side of the transistor 34 is connected to one side of a battery while the base thereof is connected to the output side of the driving circuit 20 and the emitter thereof is connected to respective bases of the transistors 43 through first resistors 45, respectively.
